Since its formation in 1992, the NPP has stood as a pillar of stability, constitutional governance, and economic progress in Ghana’s Fourth Republic.

National Leadership and Electoral Legacy
As one of Ghana’s two major political parties, the NPP has produced multiple heads of state in the Fourth Republic, including:
- John Agyekum Kufuor (President: 2001–2009)
- Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo (President: 2017–2025)
Under their leadership, the NPP has implemented wide-ranging reforms in Education, Health, Infrastructure, Digitalisation, and Economic management.
The party’s electoral performance reflects its national appeal and organizational strength, maintaining strongholds across multiple regions, while making strategic inroads into swing constituencies.
Our Structure and Wings
The NPP maintains a nationwide presence with vibrant structures at the polling station, constituency, regional, and national levels. The party also boasts dynamic wings that promote inclusion and innovation, including:- TESCON (Tertiary Students Confederacy)
- Women’s Wing
- Nasara Wing (engaging Zongo communities and Muslim youth)
- Youth Wing

With chapters across the diaspora, the NPP Global Branches provide support, advocacy, and mobilisation from Ghanaians abroad — ensuring the party remains globally connected and strategically supported.
